Get ready for Warm Winter Wishes Luminaries - Coming Soon

Brighten spirits this holiday season with beautiful traditional luminaries! The WMJWC is holding its annual Luminaries Sale and Lighting Up Main Street, Chester. Create holiday magic right from your home in Chester, Mendham, Long Valley, and Randolph by supporting local families in 2 different ways. 1) Purchase paper luminaries to light up your beautiful street-front or driveway this December 24th! Proceeds from luminary sales will provide gifts to families supported by Family Promise of Morris County. 2) Since last year we invested $2,500 to purchase breathtaking, reusable plastic luminaries to illuminate Main Street, Chester. Lighting up Main Street is a new tradition to raise awareness and funds for our local food pantry. 100% of proceeds go to the Chester Mendham Food Pantry. Stay tuned for our launch e-mail, coming soon!

Jack-O'-Lanterns, Witches & Ghosts, Oh My! Halloween Posters on Parade

What a Spooktacular way to start off the 2021 School year! We are so happy to be able to bring back one of our members favorite community events, the Halloween Poster Contest! We named 42 winners across the participating schools. Each winner was awarded a gift certificate to Taylor’s Ice Cream Parlor and all of the winning posters were proudly displayed at Kings Food Market in Mendham until November 1st. We would like to thank all the participants for providing us with clever, creative and colorful posters! We are so grateful to the continued support from the participating local elementary schools. A huge thank you to Taylor's Ice cream for providing a tasty ice cream cone to each winner and to Kings for displaying this fantastic art in their store! The WMJWC committee members of the Halloween Poster Contest did an outstanding job organizing and judging our first contest since the pandemic.
