25th Annual Spelling Bee

West Morris Junior Women’s Club held their 25th Annual Spelling Bee on Saturday, January 4, 2020. We welcomed 4th and 5th grade star spellers from local Mendham and Chester schools to participate in this competition.

The winners of the WMJWC 25th Annual Spelling Bee:
1st Place: Sienna Shieh, 4th grade
2nd Place: Neil Chopra, 5th grade
3rd Place: Denis Nunan, 5th grade

These accomplished spellers will advance to represent West Morris in the District Spelling Bee of the New Jersey Federation of Women's Clubs in February. We are so proud of them and wish them the best of luck.

From certificates to check-in to snacks to judging and pronouncing, there is always so much to do in making this event a success. Thank you to our member volunteers who gave their time, talents, and positive energy on Saturday so 32 amazing 4th and 5th graders could showcase their incredible spelling skills.
