2018 Halloween Poster Contest Winners!
The West Morris Junior Woman’s Club (WMJWC) is pleased to announce the winners of the club’s annual Halloween Poster Contest. A decades-old tradition, the contest was filled with entries from talented young artists from area schools including Mendham Township Elementary School, Hilltop Elementary School, Dickerson and Bragg School, and St. Joseph School. The contest was open to students in Kindergarten through Fourth grade.
"Now with a bit of history, this event showcases so much talent and creativity," Ginna Welsh, President, said. "Halloween brings out such excitement and a little humor that was seen in all of the posters. It was a great joy for our club to be part of bringing the community together this Fall."
First, Second and Third prize winners were selected per grade and per school. All winning entries will be on display at King’s Food Market on Route 24 in Mendham beginning this weekend through Halloween. Winners also receive recognition in school and get to take home a Halloween-themed prize courtesy of the club.
Thank you to all who participated in the 2018 Halloween Poster Contest - we received a record number of spooktacular entries this year.
Come and check out the gallery of all the winning entries at Kings Food Market - 86 East Main Street Mendham NJ. The posters will be displayed until Halloween for all to see.
The WMJWC would like to extend a huge thanks to The Sweet Spot Bake Shoppe in Chester for generously donating a free cupcake certificate for each of this year's winners! Wishing everyone a happy and safe Halloween!!!
