I have lived in Chester on our little farm for the past 5 years with my husband, Jim, our daughters, Charlotte (7) and Lilly (5), and our menagerie of fun-loving pets- 2 horses, 2 dogs, 5 cats, and a rabbit. I joined WMJWC in 2018 after attending my favorite event, A Day at the Derby, for the second time. I love the Junior’s mission and focus on the community. I was pleasantly surprised by the close friendships I formed through membership this club too. As a stay at home mom, I enjoy working with a team of remarkable women to achieve common goals. Serving on the executive board and co-chairing events such as, A Day at the Derby fundraiser, and Spring into Success has brought me pride, fulfillment, and joy. Most of all, I enjoy setting an example to my daughters on how to work as a team.
Vice President, 2018
I live in Chester with my two daughters, Sienna (7) and Madison (6). I grew up in this wonderful town and after going to college in Virginia and living in Hoboken during law school, moved back here to start a family. I work full-time as a Family Law attorney in Morristown. I am very passionate about my career, but have always tried to create a work-life balance by being an involved mother and giving back to our wonderful community. I joined the Juniors in 2018 and currently serve on the Exec Board as Vice President. One of the things I love about our club is that we constantly have new members join who are each extraordinary, talented women with new ideas to contribute to our organization, and who quickly become close friends. My favorite events are Derby Day, Spring into Success, Thanksgiving Food Drive, Luminaries & Mother’s Day fundraisers. We are always looking for new members so please consider joining!
Director of Communications, 2015
I was born and raised in West Orange, NJ and went to college in NYC where I met my husband Lee. We enjoyed city life for 7 more years before moving to Mendham in 2010. We have 3 amazing children, ages 9, 6, and 4. I joined Juniors in April 2015 to become more involved in the community, and also to meet some local women. I am currently on the Executive Board as the Director of Communications and am the co-chair of the Thanksgiving Food Drive. My favorite events are those that involve the schools, as I have elementary school-aged children and I love involving them in the amazing events we do - truly a learning experience for them to see how we can help our community.
Director Of Development, 2017
My family has been in Chester/Mendham for about fifty years and I just love it! My husband Dave and I moved to Chester in 2014, looking for more space for our three dogs and a nice community for our future family. We have two beautiful children, Hudson and Molly. I joined the West Morris Juniors in 2017, and the Executive Board in 2019. I enjoy participating in fun events while helping local people. Here I get to use my professional experience in finance, management and business development to make a difference in the community where I live. I am currently the VP of Small Business Lending at Northfield Bank. I'm passionate about what I do, growing the bank while giving small businesses the financial support they need to succeed. My favorite things about being a WMJWC member are the friendships I've made and making a difference.
Director Of Community Outreach and Charitable Events, 2017
My family moved to Mendham Township in 2014 after many years in Hoboken. My husband and I have two children, 9 & 7, and two kittens. We love being outside and exploring all the local trails that Mendham and the surrounding towns have to offer. I joined the West Morris Juniors in 2017. I was hoping to become more involved in the community and meet more people. Some of my favorite evens are the Thanksgiving Food Drive which I co-chaired for three years, Luminaries, and the Halloween Poster Contest.
Director of Social Media, 2018
My husband, John, and I moved to Mendham in 2017. We have two daughters, Bennett and Quinn and two adorable rescue beagles, Amos and Weller. We love Mendham for the small community feel and the amazing schools. The Juniors have been a great way for me to get involved within my community and meet some lifelong friends along the way. I joined the Club in 2018 and have served on the Executive Board as Vice President, Member Relations and currently Social Media Director. Some of my favorite events that I’ve been fortunate enough to chair have been the Derby Day Fundraiser, Senior Outreach Luncheon and the Annual Spelling Bee. As a family, we love to explore all that our town has to offer from beautiful hiking trails to shopping and dining at so many great local spots.
Director of Treasury, 2019
I moved to Mendham with my husband, Tony, our two kids, Cole (15) and Ethan (13), and our 3 dogs, Bailey, Maggie and Nicki, in June of 2018. I am originally from Florida but have lived all over the US in North Carolina, Colorado, Georgia, Connecticut and now New Jersey. I am a full-time working mom who enjoys serving the community whenever I have free time. As a family, we enjoy outdoor activities such as canoeing/kayaking/paddle boarding and biking. My true passion is traveling which I have been lucky enough to get to do for both work and pleasure. I joined the Juniors in 2019 and have really enjoyed the opportunity to serve the community with a group of great women.
My husband of 18 years, Tristan, and I have lived in various places on the east coast, but we chose Long Valley to settle in and start a family. We have lived here since 2013 and have since welcomed two wonderful daughters, Ripley and Jackie. I am an artist and a stay-at-home mom. I joined WMJWC in October of 2019 after being invited by a friend. I love being able to make friends while giving back to our communities. I am continually touched by all the help we give each season. For that reason, I especially love our Thanksgiving food drive and our luminaries fundraiser which enable us to give to local families in need during the holidays. And of course I consider our Derby fundraiser the not to be missed event of the year!
Director of Membership, 2019
My husband Joe and I moved from Boston to Chester in 2017. As a stay at home Mom to daughters, Phoebe (6) and Margot (1), and new to the area, I was looking to make local connections. I found joining WMJWC was a great way to become involved in our community. This organization greatly benefits our towns through both philanthropic and social contributions. As a new member to the board, I am looking forward to showcasing what a strong wonderful group of dedicated women we are, and how we enhance the community.
KYLEIGH VON DOHLEN
By-Law Board & Budget Board, 2015
I was born and spent much of my life in Morris County, however, I’ve lived in Somerset County, Pennsylvania and California. My husband and I made Mendham our home in 2012. I was working as a math teacher at a special needs high school before deciding to stay home with our two children. I strongly believe in fostering a compassionate and caring community and feel WMJWC is an organization filled with women who hold the same ideals. I’m grateful for the friendships I’ve discovered here and look forward to continuing our service to our wonderful community.
Fundraising Board, 2020
My husband, Adam, and I moved to Chester in 2018 for a change from city life and to start our family. We are now proud parents of Forrest (16 months) with a little brother on the way due in June 2021. We love the neighborly, small town feel that we find in Chester and look forward to raising our kids here among the woods and farms. We’re a very outdoorsy family and love hiking, camping, kayaking and just getting our hands dirty. I’m a full time working mom in Investment Banking but my real passion is helping others. I joined Juniors this year as a way to get more involved with the community we love so much and to meet other like minded women to make our community a better place for all.
I joined Juniors to connect with other local moms who shared an interest in community service. I was grateful to find WMJWC because it enabled me to give back to our community and form lasting friendships. It is always easier to accomplish anything with the help of others, but it is even better when you enjoy the company and have deep respect for the people on your team. We are a diverse group of women from various backgrounds, professions, interests, and talents come together to help others.
I am happy to be raising my family in the burbs with my NJ born husband at my side. As a full-time working mom, WMJWC allows me an opportunity to meet other local moms, to plant roots in the community, and to set an example for my children about the importance of helping others. I am originally from the Caribbean, and lived in Brooklyn for many years until getting married and moving to Manhattan. In 2017, pregnant with my youngest child, we moved our family from the "Big Apple" to Mendham, NJ.
I have lived in Chester with my husband, Kyle, for about 10 years now, and we have been blessed with 2 wonderful children, James (4 years old), and Sophie (6 months old). I love Chester's small town community feel, and the accessibility of walking to the town to shop and dine! As a family we love to enjoy the outdoors, swim, play games, and enjoy boating and the beach. I am an Occupational Therapist and work full time as the therapy manager at Kessler in Chester. I joined the Juniors about a year ago to meet some local moms and become more involved in serving the local community.
