What: Paws for a Cause Fundraiser for Randolph Animal Shelter

When: Donation Collection will be held Sunday, September 15 from 11AM-3PM at Well Bred in Chester (ShopRite center)

How to help: We are collecting pet items from the Randolph Animal Shelter Wish List, seen below

Paws for a Cause is a WMJWC annual fundraiser that benefits the Randolph Animal Shelter and the many dogs, cats and bunnies that they shelter there. For Paws for a Cause we aim to collect as many items as we can from the Shelter’s wish list, seen below, such as dog beds, cans of cat food & dry kibble.

This year our big collection day will be held on Sunday September 15, from 11AM-3PM at Well Bred Pet store in the Chester ShopRite center. Juniors members will be volunteering to collect items generously donated by our community.

We will also have 3 early donation bin locations where you can donate items a week prior to the event, starting September 8. These early donation bin will be located at Winky’s Pet Store in Chester New Jersey, Well Bred in Chester & at Starbucks in Mendham.

If you feel called to help our local furry friends, but don’t have any pet items and would rather donate monetarily - we are accepting donations that can be sent to our Venmo - @WMJWC . We will use any monetary donations to purchase & donate more items from the Shelter’s wishlist, such as Temptations Cat Treats  (a big request from our feline friends!)

If you feel called to help the animals at Randolph Animal Shelter please check out their wish list below, and feel free to bring your donations to any of the drop off bins from September 8-14- or to our big fundraising event on September 15! The animals and WMJWC thank you!

The WMJWC “Operation Paws for a Cause” fundraiser was created by our president & animal advocate, Lauren M. It has been a success for many years because of the generosity of our community, and the dedication of the animal-loving Junior Members who volunteer their time to raise funds and collect items for the animals in need. The current Paws for a Cause committee chair is Erin K, and the committee members who dedicate their time for this cause include: Kim V, Madeline L, Amy D, Megan M, Christine P & Amanda V.
