About Radhika Truffa
Radhika is a lifelong student and teacher of yoga who believes in focusing on integrating and balancing the body, mind, and spirit to help prevent illness and injury, and to promote wellness. Radhika has a strong background in personal training which she has been practicing since 2002. She completed her Master's degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2006 from Northeastern University which gave her a solid foundation in the workings and rehabilitation of the human body. Around the same time she graduated, Radhika began practicing and studying Iyengar Yoga with Theresa Rowland. In 2010 she found the joy and freedom of Vinyasa yoga and completed her 500 hour training with Ranjitha Sandeep at Yoga Sutra for Life. She is forever grateful to Ranjitha for bringing the love of yoga philosophy and meditation into her life. In Radhika's classes you'll find a strong focus on alignment as well as harnessing the powers of the breath for physical and emotional balance.
Mothers Celebrating Mothers
This year for Mother’s Day, the members of the West Morris Junior Women’s Club will be filling and donating 30 Mother’s Day gift baskets and 40 Mother’s Day card kits to Jersey Battered Women Services (JBWS). Our Member-Donated baskets and card kits will be gifted to the 30 single mothers and their 40 children who currently reside in JBWS’s safe-house and transitional-living facilities. JBWS, located in Morristown, NJ, provides assistance to women in Morris County who are victims and survivors of domestic violence and abuse. They offer domestic abuse victims with the ability to escape their abusers by providing free housing, therapy, pro bono legal services, and other basic necessities. Please keep on the lookout for opportunities to donate to JBWS! If you or anyone you know is a victim of domestic violence, please refer them to JBWS: https://www.jbws.org/ 24-Hour Helpline & Referral: 1.877.R.U.ABUSED or 1.877.782.2873

WMJWC Scholarship - Supporting the Next Generation of Women in OUR Community
Each year WMCWC looks forward to carefully selecting and awarding a West Morris Mendham High School senior with a scholarship for her continued education and charity of her choice. All applicants must submit an essay and the winner is selected by our WMJWC Scholarship Committee. Applicant anonymity is assured by assigning numbers to essays. This avoids any bias by the judges and ensures all finalists have an equal opportunity to win. The winner must attend West Morris Mendham High School and successfully balance her exceptional academic achievements with community service. We look forward to reading all of the essays we receive this year! Click here to make a donation and support our educational initiatives today!
We would like to welcome our newest members Liza Saunders & Shawna Wagner "As the snow starts to melt and we wait for Spring to start, we decide how to enjoy our post quarantine lives. I realized that it is time to stop relying on others to plan for me. The West Morris Junior Women's Club is the perfect place to get involved locally while planning exciting events for your friends and neighbors. I have already enjoyed several years of the holiday luminaries and now I will help bring smiles to others." -Shawna Wagner
